This SIG Sauer® P365 Extended Slide Catch Lever (Slide Release) fits all versions of the P365. This is the standard, OEM factory part for the XMacro TacOps version of the pistol.
This extended slide catch lever includes the slide catch spring.
Description
Do you prefer to bring the slide back to full battery using the slide release? The SIG P365 Extended Slide Catch Lever is much easier to use than the OEM stock version. This is a very practical size and does not extend more than necessary.

- OEM Slide Catch Spring
We suggest installation by a qualified SIG P365 armorer or someone with solid knowledge of the P365’s fire control unit.
This OEM factory P365 Extended Slide Catch Lever will fit all our Laser Sculpted P365 Modules. Due to the wide selection of P365 grip modules available, we cannot provide information concerning compatibility with other aftermarket modules.

P365 Extended Slide Catch Lever Additional Information
As noted, SIG refers to this part as a “slide catch lever,” but it is frequently called a “slide release.” The P365 manual suggests releasing the slide by either:
- Pressing down the slide catch lever, or
- Pulling back and releasing the slide
Many users have indicated difficulty pressing down the slide catch lever to release the slide and move it into battery. This will make it easier to press down the slide catch lever. Originally introduced as a feature of the P365 XMacro TacOps, this extended magazine release does fit all versions of the P365.

I was certainly hesitant to order, not knowing if such a minor change would be worth it. Just installed (thanks YouTube) and it made a world of difference! Stock slide release is fine without a mag in but pretty stiff with a mag in (with a brand new gun). I can easily say that releasing the slide now, with a mag in, is day and night difference. This is a must-have upgrade, highly recommend!
This larger version of the slide stop is wonderful. On my p365s I can drop the slide with my strong hand thumb without altering my grip. That a big deal when you have to change a mag and get back on target quickly with accuracy. Keep op the good work.
Perhaps due to my short fingers and the newness of the gun, releasing the slide without altering my grip or using my non dominant thumb was very difficult. This part solved the problem! Also, since it is an Sig OEM part, it matches the rest of the controls on the pistol. It’s not too big nor too small. Install was surprisingly easy after watching a how to video. Great upgrade!
Excellent addition to my XL. My Fuse came with this and I immediately knew I needed to add it to the P365XL. Quick service and easy to install. I highly recommend this product.
The stock slide release is a joke…with this one, you can actually release the slide like you can on every other normal handgun. Highly recommend this mod. Easy to install.
