Premium aftermarket grips for your SIG Sauer® P228 or P229 DA/SA pistol. Designed with the masters at Hogue®, our grips use a miniature version of the highly popular “Piranha” texture. This custom texture is 40 percent more aggressive than standard grips and smooth enough to carry.
The Grayguns iconic logo – in pewter – is affixed in the grip’s center. Grip screws are not included.

Description
Our custom-designed grips use a new pattern of “Piranha,” which is 40 percent more aggressive than standard grips while being smooth enough to carry. These premium aftermarket grips are for the Traditional Double Action (TDA) version of the P229 or P228.
G10 is a material that varies in color due to how it is manufactured. As a result, the grips you receive may not exactly match those pictured.

P229 Legion Compact – If you have a SIG Sauer P229 Legion Compact, a slight difference with the pistol’s controls requires our team to modify the grip’s internal profile to fit. We offer this service for free, but you must tell us you have a Legion pistol by adding a note to the order.

Great quality grips and even better customer service! The grips are certainly an upgrade from the stock E2s. Recommended.
Even more impressive is Grayguns customer service. Removing my E2 grips I managed to damage the trigger spring (fair warning to others attempting this for the first time!) and GG’s customer service was very responsive in helping me figure out what went wrong even though this wasn’t a GG issue at all. Props to Chris here for going above and beyond!

I have to say I was skeptical at first but after wrapping them around the frame with stainless steel screws, they look as good as they feel! They feel just right for my hand size, not to grippy but just the right texture! Definitely a different gun altogether!

Never seemed to get my original P229 Equinox grips to stay on. They were always springy while tightening and always came loose. These fit perfect, feel great, and look fantastic.

I thought these were a bit too expensive, but took a chance, hoping that I would find value in the expense. Well, I definitely think the expense was worth it. These grips feel great in the hand. I love the smaller texture which gives me a great grip without irritating the skin on my hand. The icing on the cake is they look fantastic!!!

I bought these for my P229 Elite to replace the awful E2 grips. I own a P227 that I had put some Hogue G-Mascus Piranha grips on and liked them. So I assumed I would like these as well… I stand corrected. I LOVE these. They feel even better in hand than the Hogue’s on my P227! The slightly finer texture is good and grippy without being abrasive or annoying. Additionally, many of the Hogue and Sig Sauer aftermarket gray and black grips actually have a lot of brown in them as well and are not as appealing to the eye. These look, feel, and function perfectly. Get some for your P229!

I installed this grip set on my P229 Equinox and it fits my had so much better than the stock grips did. Not too aggressive, yet very secure when shooting. The fit/finish is spot on. You’d think I sent my pistol in for a professional fitting. Thanks 🙂

I couldn’t seem to find these grips on a black 229, but went with them anyway because they were the best option I could find after extensive research and the laser sculpted grips not being available. I was on the fence about purchasing these grips because I’ve had Hogue Piranha grips on another Sig before and was not a huge fan. Having said that these are amazing, the smaller Piranha texture make this grips perfect! Now I’m going to have to buy them for my 220 in 10mm. Always expect great things from Grayguns, you’ll never be disappointed!
