Grayguns is a full-service custom pistolsmithing, parts and training firm, and we offer a far wider repertoire of services and modifications than we can list here.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow do I order work on my pistol?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t First, complete our Action Work Pre-Order Form<\/a>. Follow the instructions provided. We will contact you when we are ready to receive your pistol. When your pistol arrives here at Grayguns we will log it in and send you an estimate via email.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow long will my work take?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t We keep our current lead time available on the Current Wait Time page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tI would like to make a change to my order, how can I do this?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t To avoid honest errors through miscommunication, all changes and additions to your work order must<\/strong> be made in writing via email or FAX. We suggest you send the request in, then call us to confirm the change order.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tThe price I was quoted is different from your price list. Why?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Flat-rate pricing can be arbitrary, causing some customers to pay too much. Our published prices are subject to individual quotations that take your pistol’s condition and your specific requests into account. We rarely ask for more than our published pricing, and we quote each job individually. Grayguns will never bill you for more than you were quoted!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow do I pay for my work?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t We do not require deposits or prepayment for action work. If you request services that require parts or work from one of our vendors (ie. sights, parts replacement, or certain outside refinishing) we will ask for a deposit to cover those specific charges and collect the remainder of the bill when your gun is ready to ship. We will email a copy of the invoice or call for payment when the gun is nearly finished and ready to ship. We accept money orders, personal checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat if something goes wrong with my pistol after you worked on it?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t We believe God made but one perfect man, but we do make every effort to do the finest work possible. If something directly related to our work fails or malfunctions at any time, we will assess and correct it for the cost of shipping it to us.<\/p>\n Occasionally, our customers have an issue during the checkout process. Usually, this is because they are not logged into their account and are trying to checkout using the email address associated with their account. You may not realize you have an account with us. If you have an account with us, the Password Reset Request email will be sent. The email should arrive within one minute, but it may take up to five minutes depending on your email provider. Ensure you check your spam folder<\/strong> for the email.<\/p>\n The subject line of the email will be Password Reset Request for Grayguns<\/strong>. Click on the Reset Password<\/strong> button in the email.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After clicking on the Reset Password button, you’ll be directed to a unique website page that will allow you to enter a new password. You will need to add the password twice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you have reset your password and the system still tells you the wrong password is being used, please triple-check your email address and password<\/strong>. You’ll note the password is masked and hidden from view.<\/p>\n Occasionally, web browsers may “prefill” the incorrect email address, username or password. For example, your browser may remember a previous password and prefill that old password in the field.<\/p>\n The issue normally happens when you make an error; the page refreshes and fills in the old information again. Since the password is hidden<\/strong>, you may not realize it is the wrong password.<\/p>\n In most browsers, you should be able to click on the eyeball to view the password you’ve entered. (See below.)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n If you are having an issue during checkout, the website will inform you if you missed a required field. For example, if you did not check off the box agreeing to our terms and conditions, the page will refresh, and you will see the following message.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you scroll down, the field will be highlighted in red.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You will see a similar error if you miss any required fields.<\/p>\n The above information has solved almost all of the issues customers have experienced, but you are welcome to contact us if you still have an issue.
