The optic is made from a rugged 7075 aluminum housing and is rated for 10mm.

Description
The Romeo-X Enclosed Pro optic is a unique member of SIG Sauer’s Romeo-X family of optics. It offers a fully enclosed optic system.
Built from the ground up with industry-leading functionality, the ROMEO-X results from SIG’s experience developing durable red-dot technology trusted by the military and put into a streamlined civilian package.
The Romeo-X Enclosed Pro suits the optic-ready P320, P226 and P229 family of pistols or any pistol* slide with the PRO (DeltaPoint Pro) mounting footprint.
For optic-ready P365 models, we have the SIG Sauer Romeo-X Enclosed Compact with the Shield RMS-c mounting footprint.

Having owned an early Romeo red dot, I was eager to try the new, enclosed Pro. I recently purchased a 40th Anniversary P226 from Grayguns. While I was waiting for it to deliver, an old friend told me he wanted to sell his P226 Mk. 25. So I ended up with two P226s. I put the Grayguns Custom Fat Super Black Guide Rods in both as well as Grayguns Custom Strut and the Enhanced Leverage System.
Then I decided it would be fun to have an extra slide with a Romeo-X Enclosed Pro Red Dot. After confering with Chris, I obtained a Legion P226 slide that was factory cut for the red dot as well as a standard P226 barrel. Then I ordered the Enclosed Pro from Grayguns. (along with another Fat Guide Rod and Spring,) The Red Dot arrived this morning. It mounted on the Sig Slide perfectly. I’m just giving the thread locker a 24 hour curing period before heading out to the range.
I ordered the new Romeo-X Enclosed sight with 2-MOA Red Dot with 32-MOA Circle Dot. I think it is a little easier to aquire than just the dot. But this sight does allow you to select two other sized single dots if desired. It looks exactly as you expect, professional grade equipment. It has shake awake and multiple light levels as well as a couple of night settings. I am really impressed so far!
And along with all this, the excellent service and follow-up I’ve had with Grayguns just keeps me coming back! Thanks again!!!
