The Align Tactical Thumb Rest Takedown Lever features an ergonomic ledge that supports the thumb of the support hand, allowing it to lock down firmly. The rest serves as a brake against muzzle flip, providing faster follow-up sight pictures. Increased surface contact with the pistol reduces slippage of the support hand. The thumb rest is an excellent index point for a consistent high thumbs-forward grip.

P365 Thumb Rest Takedown Lever Product Specifications

The thumb rest extends forward of the center of rotation. The thumb will direct applied pressure (counterclockwise) towards the over-travel stop to maintain a rigid lock in place. Features include improved leverage for easy disassembly.

Establishing a two-handed grip creates a naturally angled cant of your support hand thumb. Incorporating a secondary receiving slope of 15 degrees allows for evenly distributed thumb pressure. In addition, it serves as a guide for settling into the proper contact position (with the center of the thumb’s pad fingerprint flatly pressed to the rest).

This takedown lever protrudes 0.32 inches (8mm) from the grip module, creating a comfortably slim footprint that provides approximately half a thumb width of resistance area. Horizontal serrations offer excellent traction against recoiling muzzle rise without being abrasive. Perfectly sized with aesthetics to match.

The pad of the thumb rest is positioned above weapon lights controls and clears the frame to reduce heat transfer to the pad during extended range sessions.

Grip Module Compatibility

There are many aftermarket grip modules available for the P365. The Alight Tactical thumb rest for the P365 has been designed to be compatible with many popular grip modules; however, Grayguns has not tested this product with all grip modules currently on the market.

Holster selection requires clearance for the extended ledge. Please make sure your holster is compatible before placing your order.

Red Dot Sight Clearance

The upward rotation of the thumb rest’s extended pad requires the base of an optic to complement the footprint of the slide. The optic must be less than 1 inch wide along the bottom 2.75mm of the optic’s height. The slide will not install if extended housings or protective fenced-in control buttons block the lever.

Slides with a shallow optic cut, such as ARC Division’s Reactor, allow for direct mounting of ALL optics (including non-compatible listed) when lever is held in full rotation for additional clearance. Also applies to optics plates that raise an optics height to clear. Non-compatibility refers to OEM direct mount without change to clearance of the takedown lever’s rotation.
