Finishes

Black Oxide

  • Standard blued finish
  • Occasionally available in Titanium nitride (TiN) Gold, Nickel PTFE, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Blue, or PVD Coyote finish.

Titanium Nitride (TiN)

A well-proven standard layer type through its balanced properties. The golden titanium nitride layer, abbreviated TiN, indicates the following properties:

  • High hardness and adhesion
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Good temperature resistance in air
  • Relatively low thermal conductivity
  • Attractive, golden color

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)

This state-of-the-art process creates a molecular bond to the trigger, resulting in a durable finish. The PVD finish should not rust, discolor or tarnish.

Nickel PTFE
Electroless Nickel PTFE (Teflon®) is an advanced, self-lubricating composite coating with PTFE particles co-deposited in the electroless nickel layer. Provides a hard, uniform, self-lubricating coating for our premium aftermarket triggers.

Other Finishes

  • A hybrid nickel and bluing finish that is similar in color to Oil Rubbed Bronze
  • The TiCN Copper finish features high hardness, low residual stress, good abrasive wear resistance, and high reliability in dry operations.

Fit Guide

It fits all variations within the P320 (upgraded) system, including but not limited to the following models.

Just installed in my newly acquired XTEN, installation was relatively easy, now if they would just get the magwell and bases back in stock.
The trigger pull change was not as light as I had hoped, or as others stated, pretty costly for mediocre change.

With the changes made with this kit, my trigger went from 4 lbs to 2.5 lbs. The pull is so smooth, and it was easy to install. The only problem I had with this kit was the actual trigger. It would not install in two different FCUs. The relief cut needed to attach the trigger to the trigger bar isn’t sufficient to install correctly.

    Great improvement and fun installation

Great product- reduced pull weight to <2#- Perfect for Competition for me. I did polish all parts of course since the FCU was apart. My only challenge with the installation was getting the trigger and trigger bar to seat using the installation method described by SigGuy. I find that the trigger rest spring cannot be hooked into the FCU and trigger bar- I had to use the "old" method of seating the trigger in the bar then use needle nose pliers to hook the spring into the FCU (carefully to not bend spring) I think it is inherent in the GG trigger design since the stock trigger drops in no problem. Maybe GG could do an "official" video (Like the p series trigger video) and clearly demonstrate how it should go?

This kit includes two options: Intermediate and Competition. Both are a significant upgrade to the stock trigger/FCU.
Running with the Intermediate currently and it’s a great trigger, will use the competition after I run this for a bit.
You should be familiar with the FCU before you try to take it apart and install this kit, plenty of youtube videos out there 🙂

I ordered the PVD Blue to give a slightly flashier look, they were out of stock for some time and mentioned they were looking for a new company to coat the triggers. The finish is good, not great. One side of the trigger is a really nice blue and the other side is kind of a purple/blue; much more subdued and almost not noticeable when the gun is in your hand. The coating/finish consistency needs improvement but the trigger and components are great!

    Great but could be better.

    Cort Steinhorst (verified owner)

This kit would be perfect if one could buy it with or without the trigger or if the trigger had adjustment screws for take-up and overtravel. The trigger pull is outstanding for a striker fired pistol after completing the installation of the springs and sear.
