    Significant improvement

I installed the competition springs (vs the also included intermediate set). I did 10 test pulls before and after. Average of my P320 x5 legion stock trigger was 5lb 15oz. Average after installation of the GrayGuns competition trigger was 2lb 15oz. Hugely noticeable. Very happy with the upgrade.

    Great trigger, Great customer service!

I was also seduced by another person’s X5 Legion with this kit, my brother in law’s gun! He indirectly gets me spending money I otherwise would hold onto. But, to be fair I hit it right buying the trigger kit, as there was a great sale going on. I read reviews, watched YouTube videos and decided to buy the kit & install it myself.
I am not a gunsmith or a certified Sig armorer, but…this was not the first handgun that I’ve disassembled & put back together successfully, but, I was patient & reasonably careful.
Three quarters of the job went without a hitch, then came time to install the trigger bar & return spring. I watched the Sig Guys YouTube video about installing this trigger kit, which was totally helpful, until the trigger bar return spring part.
It doesn’t work his way, I will spare you all grief I went through. Contact Grey Guns for their YouTube video link, IF you decide to do it yourself! There are legal disclaimers & helpful suggestions, which I absolutely understand.
Long story shortened, the Grey Guns short but sweet video had me finished with the job & enjoying a way better trigger in just a few minutes.
I like the trigger, I like the customer service & I like the company’s mantra.
If you’re not happy with the stock P320 X5 Legion trigger, I would recommend this kit without hesitation.

    What a difference

    Stephen Yeung (verified owner)

I will start off with the admission that I am a trigger snob. I have some great guns with amazing triggers. The stock P320 X-Five was NOT one of them. In fact, I felt the P320 X-Five was a slap in the face to the X-Five moniker. How can a “competition ready gun” have a long, squishy, 6 lb. trigger pull?

After installing the Grayguns trigger, trigger weight has dropped by about half, reset is shorter, and o we travel has been practically eliminated. I guess the P320 X-Five will get to come out and play more often now that it has a nice trigger.

I shot a friends X Five with this trigger and had to have one. It was out of stock so I signed up for alerts when For when it came in stock which ended up being only a day or two and I purchased this within minutes of getting that email. Shipping was quick.

I wouldn’t recommend installing this yourself unless you are an armorer or gunsmith. It can be done but I had mine installed by a professional.

Absolutely love this trigger for the range.

    Must have upgrade for Competition

    davrdavis (verified owner)

Installed this in my P320 X5 Legion (USPSA CO). Installation was as expected with the P320 FCU (minor pain in the butt) and I chose the competition sear and trigger springs. Stock trigger pull was 4lbs even – trigger pull with installation was 2lbs 1oz (aver of 10 readings). Trigger is great with a nice wall and a short reset. You can adjust the reset with the built in set screw – I set it to where the trigger wouldn’t reset and then backed off until it would reset. Overall, I am very happy with this kit and would recommend to everyone intending to compete with their P320.

I put this into my X5 Legion and its super nice. I just got a 320 Spectre Comp and now the trigger in that one feels like crap compared to the Gray Guns. I’m going to have to order another trigger looks like. I’m trying to wait for the gold to match the look for the custom works trigger but not sure I can wait forever LOL. Anyways, great job guys. I’ll be back for another one soon.

I really can’t say enough about the difference this adjustable trigger makes on shooting accuracy. I built an X5 with a P320 FCU I have an AXG that I installed the forward reset trigger and upgrade trigger bar. The improvements to the AXG were good. But my build with the adjustable is absolutely phenomenal. About 2.5 lb trigger pull, definitive wall, crisp break, and short reset allows me to get bs k on target quickly. A true game changer. The X(5 has no optic and my accuracy is better than my other red dot equipped 320’s I was fortunate enough to have a private range to test fire. I dumped a mag quickly and stayed in 8.9.10 at 15 yards. Crazy smooth and crisp

I loved my X Five except for the trigger. I thought it was trash. Spongy, no wall, an ok reset, and an average pull weight of 4lbs 4ounces. Now with my Grayguns trigger, it has a crisp break, a definite wall, a short reset, and an average pull weight of 2lbs 6ounces. I could not be more pleased with this trigger! Plus, the ordering process was easy and my trigger arrived in the mail 2 days earlier than projected. A great company producing great products!

The install of the trigger wasn’t too bad following a few guides. The 320 has different revisions of trigger bars which was the only thing that threw me off. Other than that installation was nice and easy and yielded an amazingly light pull with the competition trigger springs.

Excellent trigger kit for competition. Installing this and it would me to drop my overall pull weight down to around 2 1/2 pounds, with a sharp crispy reset. Competition trigger

    David Loy (verified owner)

The trigger arrived in a timely manner, I had it installed by a gunsmith who also has the same trigger installed in his p320, mine was the SIG AXG Pro. 320. I was “new to competition shooting” in the last 6 months and wasn’t pleased w the ” out the box” trigger that came w the pistol. I have surrounded myself w “real gun guys” who were extremely safe, competent, knowledgeable in shooting/ pistols etc . When I asked them what would be their choice of trigger for what I needed to accomplish they said Grayguns , it was the overwhelming answer, including the gunsmith I used for installation.. The original trigger out the box measured 4.5lbs after installation of the GG comp trig it pulled a consistent 2.5lbs..What a difference!..Now remember I’m 6 months into shooting competitively and what a game changer, I still need plenty of dry/ live fire drills/ training , etc and on my 1st run shooting a steel challenge run of
Pendulum I shot 1 second less in practice after 4 runs than I did in competition the week before. And after installation running the standard 5 runs minus the worst then take the 4 runs total in seconds to get your score., This isn’t an EDC trigger.. although there are very qualified gun guys who do..I’m not there yet. With all this said, I purchased this as an investment in my shooting strategy and Ii believe it will pay off in spades! as long as I do my part in taking lessons etc .from a qualified instructor/ and in my corner Mark who walks it and talks it humbly. It’s a shame I can only give it 5 stars..But it is what it is…and when you know that you know that you know, I’m
    glad I choose Grayguns .
PS. I’ve called Grayguns twice with general questions since the purchase and have spoken w Chris and if I was self employed I’d like to have 10 of those guys taking care of my customer service. Thanks guys!

    Reduced trigger pull

    grassman1952 (verified owner)

Really reduced the trigger pull on my Sig 320 full size. Pull was down to about 3 lbs. 12 ounces with a different
brand trigger kit. The Grayguns kit reduced it to 2 lbs. 3 ounces on a five-pull average.
Not really that hard to install, just take your time. And take it step by step.

Significant Trigger Improvement in 90 minutes

    dshuf118 (verified owner)

My stock short reset P320 trigger was a mushy, gritty six and a half pounds. I don’t have a lot of gunsmithing experience but I was able to install this kit in about 90 minutes. The biggest issue had nothing to do with the kit, but the YouTube video I used as a guide, while excellent in most respects, had a trigger shoe with a slightly different configuration than the one in my kit. This difference made the technique he used impossible for me to replicate. Once I figured that out, I was able to finish the last steps on my own. When I tried the trigger it seemed much lighter (I used the competition springs) but I was a little shocked when my Lyman gauge measured a two and a half pound average of 6 pulls with no grit. The trigger is not as crisp as my 1911’s but it’s so much better than stock. I strongly recommend this Grayguns trigger upgrade.

I installed the Competition trigger kit in my P320 X Full. The trigger is much smoother, and the gun is easier to shoot. The pull weight is reduced too. This is a terrific improvement over the original trigger.
Installation is straightforward and there are a lot of videos that helped me get everything right.

Works great with the P320 Custom Works FCU. Great fit and fun to install. This made my trigger pull feel almost like my P226… almost. The break is smoother. The pull weight is noticeably lighter. The over travel adjustment really helps to eliminate the extra trigger movement after the break. I am very pleased with this trigger kit.

This is my second set that I bought and boy does it work great for me. I adding one to my P320 4.7 with X-ray sights and was very impressed with the performance. Lighter trigger pull and more accuracy. Then I added one to my already accurate P320 Max, that comes with the pro max optic. It made that gun ridiculous. The lighter trigger changes everything.

    Great trigger kit

    stevejamroz (verified owner)

I’m really happy with this trigger kit. I’ve had lots of custom triggers for Glocks, CZs and also have 2011 and 1911s to compare it to. While it isn’t single action good, it’s better than my Apex Glock Triggers and Custom CZs right out of the box. I’ve also had a trigger done for a Sig by someone who specializes in that and this one is better in my opinion. I put the competition springs in and mine is breaking right at 2.25# and crisp with a good reset. It’s not that hard to install if you have some knowledge and skill working on guns. The trigger return spring install is the hardest part and that’s really a Sig design issue not GG. Once you do it you get the hang of it pretty easily but there are more parts than a Glock to put back together. Don’t know how you can really get much better unless you go to a single action trigger in a 2011.

    cody.higgins25 (verified owner)

Pros, shipping was super fast, the product looks good after install(went with tin gold trigger), reset is definitely much shorter and trigger pull is noticeably lighter.
Cons, after the trigger resets, there is still alot of creep from the wall to the trigger brake and it feels gritty, not very clean or positive feeling brake. The kit comes with no instructions for installation or proper procedure for adjusting the overtravel stop on the trigger. There is definitely room for improvement here but overall it is better than the factory trigger. Also, I am running this drop in kit with a sig pro cut slide. So everything on my gun is factory sig other than this drop in trigger kit.

This kit includes two options: Intermediate and Competition. Both are a significant upgrade to the stock trigger/FCU.
Running with the Intermediate currently and it’s a great trigger, will use the competition after I run this for a bit.
You should be familiar with the FCU before you try to take it apart and install this kit, plenty of youtube videos out there 🙂

I ordered the PVD Blue to give a slightly flashier look, they were out of stock for some time and mentioned they were looking for a new company to coat the triggers. The finish is good, not great. One side of the trigger is a really nice blue and the other side is kind of a purple/blue; much more subdued and almost not noticeable when the gun is in your hand. The coating/finish consistency needs improvement but the trigger and components are great!

The Trigger the P320 X-Five Should Have Had All Along

    bowsergm (verified owner)

Installed the PVD Blue version last weekend (glad it was finally back in stock), yet to hit the range. This kit takes the “mushy” factory trigger to the crisp break the competition gun deserves. I did buy the armor’s block and it was helpful, not sure it was worth $ 50. Relatively easy install following the Sig Guy video on YouTube using punches and needle nose pliers. However I got stumped because the video didn’t even mention the safety lever spring (that fell out of my FCU during disassembly). Turns out the newer P320’s don’t include it, so mine went into the “original parts bag” just in case. I took the opportunity to fully disassemble the FCU and thoroughly clean / lube it. Looking forward to my next range trip / match.

Since the upgrade I’ve been shooting my 320 better than my 229 elite. It’s like a whole new gun.

I’ve put about 300 rounds through it this far with zero issues/hiccups.

The installation wasn’t “easy”, but neither was it particularly difficult. It took me about 15 minutes, going slow and careful.

My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

This trigger kit is awesome. Dropped it into an X5 Legion. Performs much better than stock. The TiN trigger finish is smooth and uniform. Takes some moderate skill to install. If you have a set of punches, a block and lubricants. It’s not bad at all. Tightened my grouping up immediately. Much shorter reset for follow up shots. Breaks very smoothly and predictably. I don’t have a gauge to measure trigger pull but it is lighter than stock. Overall I highly recommend this kit. You won’t regret it after squeezing the trigger the first time.

This is by far the best trigger I’ve used on a P320. Upgraded my P320 X5 Legion factory trigger to this. Probably wouldn’t recommend this for a duty/home defense setup because of how much it reduces the break. Installation was moderately hard. Plenty of videos to help with the install. This should be the first upgrade for your competition/Gucci P320.

This kit would be perfect if one could buy it with or without the trigger or if the trigger had adjustment screws for take-up and overtravel. The trigger pull is outstanding for a striker fired pistol after completing the installation of the springs and sear.

    Great trigger!

    Zachary Byler (verified owner)

I recently got into competitive steel shooting and had a few people recommend this setup to me. After being underwhelmed by a few other adjustable trigger kits, I decided to give this a shot on my X5 legion. I found that the competition sear springs and the intermediate reset spring gave me the best feel and I couldn’t be happier with how it performs. In fact, I just made “Sharp Shooter” in my first ever IDPA classifier (Carry Optics) this weekend! Looking forward to continuing to use this as I improve.

    Grayguns adjustable P320 trigger

    tyson.adams (verified owner)

i put the grey guns adjustable trigger in my Max Michel P320 from the custom works shop, and i didn’t think id get much more out of the trigger then what was already there but i was wrong, the trigger is lighter and crisper and takes away a lot of the creep, and easy to install, very happy with the GG trigger system and have been recommending it to all the shooters i know for a great competition trigger!!!

I recently received my first of 2 competition trigger kits for my X Five. I am NOT a gunsmith. I am however a 72 year old addict/alcoholic in recovery for 22 years so I have some noticeable tremors. This kit was not difficult to install. In fact the most challenging part of the assembly process is getting the trigger/trigger bar assembly back in the gun. Patience is the key..

Best P320 trigger on the market

    colby_register (verified owner)

This is by far the best trigger on the market for your P320. I’ve used the Apex trigger in several other sigs, and it doesn’t even compare. Yes, the difficulty of installation on this kit might not be for beginners, but I consider myself no more than a hobby-level gunsmith and I would rate this maybe a 3 on the difficulty scale (1 being easy, 5 being hard). There are plenty of good videos on youtube that walk you through it step by step, so don’t give something a bad review because you don’t possess the skills to install it…that’s what professional gunsmiths are full. This kit reduced my pull weight by a hair over 3lbs, but the real win is in the feel of the trigger. No more sloppy, spongy feeling. The trigger is crisp, breaks super consistently, and just gives you a lot more confidence in the firearm.

    Avoid

    Gabriel Shaw (verified owner)

For $150, I thought I was getting something that I could instal with moderate gunsmithing knowledge. Nope. This is the single hardest project I’ve ever worked on in 33 years of gunsmithing. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid and go Apex.

Also, pretty shifty that you guys have to approve reviews… pretty sure that violates US consumer laws…

Removing and replacing our competition sear and springs can be a challenge for some, but we’ve had thousands of customers – most not gunsmiths – successfully install the kit. We do suggest those installing the competition trigger kit be familiar with the inner workings of the P320’s fire control unit. There are a couple of excellent disassembly and assembly videos available. If you are willing to contact our customer support team – or have already done so – I would expect we would be able to provide some tips on installation. (We review all of the comments and posts on the site for language a couple of times per week and publish them.)

    Fantastic trigger

    Jeremy Bonam (verified owner)

Very happy with this trigger system in my m17. It started off having a 6.5lb pull, and this trigger brought it down to under 3lbs. Installing it was pretty easy and straightforward. This also works with manual safety models as well as ones without the safety. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a competition trigger in their p320.

    Day & Night

I know sometimes people exaggerate when they say day and night but not in this case! My P320 fired so smooth that a friend of mine who never shot before was hitting bulleyes. I had him shoot a stock M&P with a massachusetts 10 pound compliant trigger that belonged to the range then! I had him shoot my 320 and he was losing his mind. He fell in love with the gun. I fell more in love with the gun! The gun is even smoother now. The finish on the trigger also feels very nice on your trigger finger. Overall good experience and came in two days after hitting process payment.

Very nice trigger, easy adjustment. The trigger installation was a bit difficult, but the gunsmithing department was able to walk me through it and provided excellent service.
