Description
Designed by Keith Hosey, Grayguns’ director of gunsmithing, the HK45 Straight Trigger is a first in the market. The trigger reduces overtravel while featuring a 90-degree optimal trigger break.
This HK45 straight aftermarket trigger design allows for lower finger placement and may provide a feel of reduced pull weight. However, the trigger design does not reduce pull weight.
Made in the United States to high-quality standards, it guarantees the fit and finish Grayguns is known for. It is precision machined from tool steel and heat-treated adequately for optimal wear resistance. It is hand-inspected and finished to ensure a quality trigger we can stand behind for life.

Finish
Black Oxide – Our high-quality blued finish is our standard for this product.
Nickel PTFE – Electroless Nickel PTFE (Teflon®) is an advanced, self-lubricating composite coating with PTFE particles co-deposited in the electroless nickel layer. Provides a hard, uniform, self-lubricating coating for our premium aftermarket triggers.
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
This state-of-the-art process creates a molecular bond to the trigger, resulting in a durable finish. The PVD finish should not rust, discolor or tarnish.
Titanium Nitride (TiN)
A well-proven standard layer type through its balanced properties. The golden titanium nitride layer, abbreviated TiN, indicates the following properties:
- High hardness and adhesion
- Good chemical resistance
- Good temperature resistance in air
- Relatively low thermal conductivity
- Attractive, golden color
Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) (Copper)
The TiCN Copper finish features high hardness, low residual stress, good abrasive wear resistance, and high reliability in dry operations.
HK Straight Trigger Design & Photos
The Grayguns HK Straight Triggers for the HK45, P30, P2000, and HK USP are different, but somewhat indistinguishable at first glance. For this reason, the photos shown represent the finish and color only. The current production of the triggers includes laser markings indicating which pistol model the trigger fits. Early versions include a batch number. If you’re unsure of the trigger you have in your hand, please contact us.

I took a chance on grayguns after seeing a lot of good reviews of their products. The trigger provided a smoother and greater surface area to pull the trigger over the stock HK45 trigger especially when combined with the SRT and Medium Spring.
Love the difference this makes in my HK45T, especially in combination with the Short Reset Kit. Awesome product!
I love this trigger. The feel is so much better than the stock curved trigger. The geometry is great. The break is perfectly positioned.
Fairly easy to install provided that you have the return spring installation tool from HK. Already a lot better trigger position and because of the better leverage a lighter feel to the trigger. This is subjective though. A easy way to make a great gun perform even better
Grayguns makes some good stuff the trigger is awesome on single action it feels like a 1911
