Description
Designed by Keith Hosey, Grayguns’ director of gunsmithing, the HK USP Straight Trigger is a first-of-its-kind in the market. The trigger reduces over-travel while featuring a 90-degree optimal trigger break.
This USP Straight aftermarket straight trigger design does allow for lower finger placement and may provide the feel of reduced pull weight. However, the trigger design does not reduce pull weight.
Made in the United States to high-quality standards, it guarantees the fit and finish Grayguns is known for. Precision machined from tool steel and heat-treated adequately for optimal wear resistance. Hand inspected and finished to ensure a quality trigger we can stand behind for life.

I recently installed this on my USPC along with the SRT sear. The combination makes a works of difference and would even rival the USP Match trigger. If you run your USP in DA/SA configuration, this is by far the absolute best way to do it!

How can a trigger swap fix the dreaded low-left shot, I don’t know, but it did. I am no pro shooter, nor even amateur competition shooter, but I enjoy shooting. I don’t shoot my other four guns low-left (a mix of full size to micro and 45ACP to 9MM) so why I shot my USPC40 that way was beyond me. I started looking to upgrade the trigger in hopes it would improve the situation and got mixed results after adding the GG SRT and then switching to LEM. Finally, I swapped the trigger and magically the low left was gone. No, I wasn’t grouping well as I’m not a good enough shot, but my placement was now consistent with my other guns. Was it the never-ending dry firing that I dedicated to this gun or the extra rounds being put through it to fix my mechanics or the fact that the straight trigger doesn’t make your finger articulate as much or maybe just a little bit of everything combined, I don’t know. But, I’m shooting my first ever gun better than ever and I couldn’t be happier. Hope to get lots of years of service from this part and I’m sure I will as the trigger feels very well made.
Thanks for making this great product. Now just make it for the HK45 so I can swap one in that gun too.

What a game changer for th Usp Compact pistol. I have bought these straight triggers for my P30’s and Usp Compact’s. They really do make the difference in how solid the trigger feels. I compare the feel of these METAL triggers to that of my Mark 23. I love Grayguns and I can not wait to see what else they can provide to enhance my HK pistols.

I already had experience with the Grayguns straight trigger since it came stock on my Sig P226 Legion. A flat trigger simply feels better to me an gives me improved fire control. The stock USP compact trigger works, obviously, but is a bit “squishy” for a hammer-fired pistol, and the Grayguns straight trigger (along with a good trigger job to clean up the creep) gave the trigger a much improved crisp, clean feel.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this trigger but everything from gray guns has been great so I gave it a try. If you’ve taken your usp apart before this install was a breeze. The gun I installed this trigger in has the carry perfection package. I love this trigger. It works great in double action and is excellent in single action. The flex from the polymer trigger is eliminated. The trigger pulls much smother. The action feels more crisp. I am anxiously awaiting the release for the full size models.

I really wanted to carry my USP Compact, it’s extremely reliable. But The trigger pull in double action made it challenging to land an accurate first shot reliably. This is because of how far back the the trigger needs to be pulled to fire, while simultaneously powering through that much force in double action. This was causing me to torque my hand in the process moving my point of aim. After switching to the flat face trigger it is MUCH easier to land an accurate double action shot and follow up shots are much easier to place. The trigger face is nice and wide, and easy to find with your finger, and the wall being at 90 degrees makes it feel very similar to most of of my competition guns I shoot on the weekend. It’s amazing how a simple trigger swap can change the entire dynamics of this gun. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a more modern trigger pull. While the trigger pull isn’t technically lighter, it feel so because it positions your finger and grip in a way where you can deliver that power more easily. It feels great!
