Description
Designed by Keith Hosey, Grayguns’ director of gunsmithing, the HK USP Compact Straight Trigger is a first-of-its-kind in the market. The trigger reduces over-travel while featuring a 90-degree optimal trigger break.
This USP straight aftermarket trigger design allows for lower finger placement and may provide a feel of reduced pull weight. However, the trigger design does not reduce pull weight.
Made in the United States to high-quality standards, it guarantees the fit and finish Grayguns is known for. Precision machined from tool steel and heat-treated adequately for optimal wear resistance. Hand inspected and finished to ensure a quality trigger we can stand behind for life.

Fit and finish is excellent.
I love it.
Flat wide comfortable face with enough chamfer the corners don’t feel sharp. Breaks at a nearly perfect 90°… to me this sharpens up the USP to feel like a precision Worldclass weapon.
I added both the flat trigger and the reset kit to my HK45C. Single action is particularly good. Double action is more comfortable for me, though the trigger pull is a bit high. However, my pistol is still pretty tight. I expect the double action will improve with age. For now it is a superb platform for combat. The reset is improved about as advertised. I’m very pleased with these additions and recommend them to improve trigger comfort, single action as good as Sig, and a noticeable improvement in reset.
Install wasn’t hard, it’s a very nice difference. You can feel the shorter reset and it breaks cleanly. I chose the nickel and it is a good contrast to the all black on my USP compact 45. Only minor change I’d do – could’ve used some texturing/lines on the inside of the trigger, I did notice my finger would slightly slide down the trigger sometimes.
