Description
Designed by Keith Hosey, Grayguns’ director of gunsmithing, the HK P30 Straight Trigger is a first-of-its-kind in the market. It fits all P30 variants. The trigger reduces over-travel while featuring a 90-degree optimal trigger break.
This P30 aftermarket straight trigger design allows for lower finger placement and may provide the feel of reduced pull weight, but it does not reduce pull weight.
Made in the United States to high-quality standards, guaranteeing the fit and finish Grayguns is known for. Precision machined from tool steel and heat-treated adequately for optimal wear resistance. Hand inspected and finished to ensure a quality trigger we can stand behind for life.
HK P30 Straight Trigger Fit Guide
This trigger fits all variations (LEM, DA/SA, and SAO) of the HK P30 line – and only the HK P30 line – of pistols. Including:
- P30
- P30L
- P30SK

Our high-quality blued finish is our standard for this product.
Nickel PTFE
Electroless Nickel PTFE (Teflon®) is an advanced, self-lubricating, composite coating with PTFE particles co-deposited in the electroless nickel layer. Provides a hard, uniform, self-lubricating coating for our premium aftermarket triggers.
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
This state-of-the-art process creates a molecular bond to the trigger, resulting in a durable finish. The PVD finish should not rust, discolor or tarnish. Availability varies, but options include Gray, Blue and Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes.
Titanium Nitride (TiN)
A well-proven standard layer type through its balanced properties. The golden titanium nitride layer, abbreviated TiN, indicates the following properties:
- High hardness and adhesion
- Good chemical resistance
- Good temperature resistance in air
- Relatively low thermal conductivity
- Attractive, golden color
Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) (Copper)
The TiCN Copper finish features high hardness, low residual stress, good abrasive wear resistance, and high reliability in dry operations.
HK Straight Trigger Design & Photos
The Grayguns HK Straight Triggers for the HK45, P30, P2000, and HK USP are different, but somewhat indistinguishable at first glance. For this reason, the photos shown represent the finish and color only. The current production of the triggers includes laser markings indicating which pistol model the trigger fits. Early versions include a batch number. If you’re unsure of the trigger you have in your hand, please contact us.

Got this after I had placed one in my P30L and was really impressed. The feel of the all-metal construction is great and gives me confidence over the stock polymer. It honestly makes the pull feel better with even the stock springs and internals. Loved the oiled bronze look; subtle and yet kinda fancy. Even if you get just this for your P30 you will never look back.
Significantly fixed the trigger distance for me for my LEM p30L. Helps with a much more stable pull, breaks at about 90°. Pairs great with short reset parts kit. I can shoot this gun with irons better than I can a Glock with a red dot
Fantastic product! It makes a noticeable difference all by itself, but in combination with the Short Reset Kit, the results are fantastic! This one is installed in my P30L, but I ordered another one just in case I buy a P30 or P30SK in the near future (highly likely, lol). BTW, love the blue pvd finish.
All I can say is Wow! Not only does it look freakin awesome, I was a little concerned about ergonomics being the aggressive angle but it feels fantastic!
I got one for my P30L but held off on my carry P2000 for that reason but am ordering one asap for my carry weapon!
Coupled with GG’s short reset kit , wow, reset feels at least 50% less! Don’t hesitate, not only does it upgrade the factory plastic trigger to metal, it looks great and feels great also. Reset and over travel feels even less too!
I had these installed on all of my P30 pistols, as I prefer a flat trigger. These work great and I’ve never had any issues with functionality.
