Designed with the masters at Hogue, our grips use a miniature version of the highly popular “Piranha” texture. This custom texture is 40 percent more aggressive than standard grips and smooth enough to carry. As a result, these grips provide the form and function you’ve come to expect from Grayguns.
The Grayguns iconic logo – in pewter – is affixed in the grip’s center. Grip screws are not included.
G10 is a material that varies in color due to how it is manufactured. As a result, the grips you receive may not exactly match those pictured. Please read the full description below.
Description
Our custom-designed grips use a new pattern of “Piranha,” which is 40 percent more aggressive than standard grips while being smooth enough to carry. These grips are for the Traditional Double Action (TDA) version of the P226 and the Single Action Only (SAO) version of the P226.
The P226 TDA version is designed with an exclusive shape to accommodate both the standard and SIG Legion controls.

I don’t have large hands. I’ ve been running the Sig E2 grips on both my P226s and my P229. I wanted to try something different. So I asked the guys at Grayguns if these Hogue G10 grips were thicker or thinner than the stock. They replied quickly that they felt them to be somewhat thinner. So I ordered a pair to try on my Mk25 Frankenstein pistol. I have a Legion slide with a Sig RomeoX red dot site. I got the grips, installed them, and tried them out. They are exceptional! Not only do they look incredible on the pistol, they are extremely comfortable to handle and to shoot with. I am really pleased. (No kidding, these grips look like nothing else!) The only downside is that now I want two more pair, one for the 40th Anniversary P226, and the other for my P229!

These G10 grips provide the perfect fit, function, and feel on my P226 Legion SAO, while akso greatly enhancing the appearance of an already sharp looking pistol. Bravo Zulu to both GrayGuns & Hogue on job very well done.
Fit my P226 Zev SAO perfectly and fit my hand even better. Yes, the original ones are great. These are better! I honestly like the way these look better than the originals, as well.
These are awesome grips. Great for carry as they are not super aggressive. As stated the seam between the two is virtually imperceptible.
