Our Custom Captured Guide Rod – currently available for the SIG Sauer® P220 and P226 (9 mm) – is the captured version of our rod for the P220 and P226.
Description
Our guide rod for the P220 and P226 ensures a longer spring life before replacement. It is custom-designed to provide the same performance as the legendary Grayguns P+ Pink Recoil Spring. That recoil spring is perfect for 9mm +p factory rounds and even lighter loads.
It is a high-strength and durable spring. This guide rod is an excellent system for those who want the maximum from their carry or duty weapon. The spring is not user-serviceable, but the spring life should be greater than 10,000 rounds.

- The SIG P220 barrel length is 4.4″ – as such, the P220 captured guide rod will not fit the P220 Compact, P220 Carry or P220 Classic 22.
- The captured guide rods are designed for P226 and P220 pistols chambered in 9mm.

Bought a Legion slide on Black Friday. Outfitted it with a barrel, and this captive recoil spring. Now I can install and remove the optic as easily as a slide swap. Love it! Since it’s Gray Guns it is as good or better than OEM. A little off topic, the grips are an excellent blend of grip and comfort in my opinion.

Immediately installed this Gray Guns Captured Guide Rod/Spring Assembly in my NIB Sig P226 SAO 9mm Legion, then sent 150 rd. down range. Absolutely fantastic, perfect fit, flawless in every detail, & I got this in “Black Magic”
