"Natasha Morrissey says" ..... sounds like a TV show .... just rolls off the tongue (in a good way).

OK, attempt at humor aside. It took me six months of practicing the techniques Bruce outlines in his several articles on his site.

I turned bad habits into good habits and an a minimum of 75% better with a handgun than ever before. Some swear he is nits -- I swear he is the guru of handguns!

Thanks Bruce Gray .... I had a V8 .....!

Hello, again! I just thought I would post an update just in case anyone was interested. I not only passed my qualification for my instructor course, but was told by the instructor that I did the best out of the whole class of 12! I was thinking about this article while I was waiting for my turn to shoot.

Big thanks!

Great article! I am taking a pistol instructor certification course in a few weeks and have been worried about qualifying on the range. My husband just emailed this link to me and after reading it, I am feeling much better. It has reinforced what I already knew and renewed my confidence in my abilities.

On another note, I love that in the last line of paragraph 12 the "champion" being referred to is a "she".

Thanks again!

My father, Ralph, a club shooter in the Pt Townsend area, turned me on to your website and this article.

I was competitive in the mid 80s in international pistol. The richness of this article, the depth, and subtlety are astounding. Until now, I had never read anyone's description of where your head needs to be - - where my head was - - when I was at my best. I stumbled on the outlook, the imagery, and the focus. It was a state I seemed to wander to, then lose - time and again. This is a map back to that place, and a way not to lose it again. Many Thanks.
