It was nice shooting with you at the Area 3 match. Definitely a pleasure to talk with someone who knows what the inside of a sig looks like. Tell those sig guys to improve their polymer grips! Deeper stipples or something. I hope you had fun and did not get overly sun burnt. Come to Minnesota; not so hot. Look forward to running into you again.

Current Lead Time
[March 6, 2012] Grayguns is in the midst of our busy winter pistolsmithing season. Thanks to you, our loyal and discriminating clients, we're busier than ever! Indeed, we've enjoyed an unexpectedly large influx of new jobs coming our way since Jan. 1. However, our uncompromising work takes the time it takes for each project, and this inevitably results in longer wait times for you. We are currently quoting a 12 week shop time for our service and competition action packages, sight installations and other routine work orders, and we must ask for your patience as we work through our backlog. Expedited service may be available for law enforcement duty weapons, as our capacity and need for sleep permits.
We hate to wait ourselves, and totally understand if you can't be without your pistol right now. So, let me offer a reasonable option to help you. Please consider waiting to send your pistol a bit later in the season, when our shop times have historically been much shorter.
To those clients who sent in their pistols recently with the expectation of our previously quoted four week shop time, I apologize profusely and wish to assure you that your project will be completed as quickly as humanly possible consistent with the standards of quality and lifetime guarantee you came to us for. Thank you again for your faith in our work and services.
The list is still closed for all other advanced and high-grade custom work (ie. 1911’s and HK P7 series custom builds). In fairness to our current customers we will open our custom list once we’ve completed our current backlog.
We are very grateful for all our existing customers who are keeping us extremely busy during these tough economic times and we look forward to working with new customers.
