Photos from GGI Heckler & Koch P7 M8 custom work

While catching up on our custom-gun backlog, we’ve been finishing a number of H&K P7 projects lately. We’ve had requests to post some pics of our current P7 work, so with your indulgence here’s a few snapshots of an M8 that Torie and I just completed for a good and patient customer from Ohio.
This pistol has our beavertail conversion, 30LPI hand checkering, a bit of magazine well beveling, action work with an over-travel stop and modest reset reduction, Meprolight night sights, and is finished in SuperBlack.
As shown, these can be checkered but it’s far from easy, requiring more of a graving style and some specialized stuff to work with. After 35 years of this work you wouldn’t like my hands and elbows, unless you were my orthopedic surgeon.

I am very interested in the P7 beaver tail conversion and the added night sights. How much do you charge for this and how long would the turn around be? The 30 LPI checkering also nice.
very nice. makes me want to get the M13 done. good looking work
Sir,
Beautiful P-7. Mine is a police trade-in, with the mill cut on the slide. Also, in a recent shooting match with my sons, I lost a rear sight insert. I know you’re not accepting work at this time, but what is an estimate for installing night-site inserts and milling down the slide, with appropriate re-finish of slide.
Thanks,
Tom
I have two P7-M8′s and would be very interested in adding your beaver tail conversion and beveling the mag wells. The checkering might be of interest depending on the cost.
Your website says you are going to begin taking work soon. Would it be possible to start work on these two pistols in the near future?
Thank you for your time.
